Nashville recording artist Charlie Allen will undertake a two-week promotional tour of France and England to capitalize on the success of his single, “Proof,” which hit the #1 spot recently on Europe’s Hotdisc “Independent Top 20” chart and #3 on their “Top 40” radio chart, respectively. “Proof” is from Allen’s critically acclaimed CD, That Was Then, This Is Now.

While in France, Allen will attend MIDEM in Cannes, and will be available for interviews on Jan. 20 and 21. He and his label head, Diane Delena of River Run Records, are also scheduled to hold a press conference on Jan. 20 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Palais de Festivals, in Auditorium C on the 3rd Level.
