Co-Managing Partner Global Eyes Entertainment Global Marketing Consultant- for River Run Records/ U Tell Me Publishing (representing Charlie Allen at Midem 09) Ramona Simmons has worked for twenty-six years in Nashville and the music media marketing, artist management, film and television production, sales and marketing; plus 11years with one of the most respected and successful record labels in country music history: Arista/Nashville. Starting the Arista label in 1989 hand-in-hand with music mogul, Tim DuBois, and mentoring under the guise of music genius Clive Davis, Ramona held the positions of office manager, A&R administrator, project coordinator and director of production and international director of artist development. In addition, she was responsible for the departments of human services, finance, creative and publicity as the label was forming and was the Nashville liaison with Arista Records in New York and BMG offices internationally. The label launched the careers of Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Diamond Rio, Brad Paisley, Pam Tillis, BlackHawk, BR5-49, Lee Roy Parnell, Michelle Wright and the Tractors. The labelís flagship artists were Exile and Asleep at the Wheel. All this experience led to the development of her own international company, Global Eyes Entertainment - an international consulting firm for entertainment entities. |

He created two music publishing companies Preston Sullivan Music (ASCAP) and Surespin Songs (BMI) which to date have had over 50 songs recordesd by artists around the world several achieving Gold, Platinum and Billboard success. Mr. Sullivan became director of operations and in-house producer for Sixteenth Avenue Sound Studios in Nashville. Mr. Sullivan has produced over 100+ albums for multi-genre artists. As studio director, his marketing efforts helped Sixteenth Avenue Sound secure a client roster that included such hit artists as Steve Winwood, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Take 6, BeBe and CeCe Wynans, Mark Knopfler, Dolly Parton, George Strait, Alan Jackson, John Denver and Maria Carey - and more. Over 80 of the artists that recorded at the studio in its eleven-year history had sales, which achieved gold, platinum or multi-platinum status with many Grammy nominations or international music industry awards. Preston co-founded Tappedinto.com / TN2 Entertainment, a hugely successful streaming media company in 1997 (Reed-Midem†web cast and conference partner for 3 years). Preston currently is a managing partner with Ramona Simmons in Global Eyes Entertainment a full service international media and marketing organization representing labels, publishers, and artists across many genres for the global market place. |
